Life Live it! Occupational Therapy is an established private practice in Mt Hawthorn specialising in adult rehabilitation, home modifications and equipment prescription.

We are seeking expressions of interest for a fulltime occupational therapist.

The therapist should be knowledgeable, with some practical experience in the rehabilitation process including prescription of aids and equipment.

The OT must have a strong interest in our areas of speciality, be time efficient, have outstanding interpersonal skills and commitment to service excellence.

This role is diverse and clinically rewarding with services delivered mostly in the home.

The therapist will work alongside the principal, and fellow OT’s in a friendly and supportive environment.

The therapist will be required to use own car for work with a car allowance provided with salary.  Membership to OT Association will be required for Professional Indemnity Insurance purposes.

We service the Perth Metropolitan and Outer Metropolitan Area, and the South West and Great Southern Regions of WA.

Life Live it! continues to embrace ongoing growth and as such, require the services of a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will be based in the Perth Office, providing services to clients in the Perth Metropolitan and Outer Metropolitan Area.

The Role

You will have strong problem solving and clinical reasoning skills and clinical experience in home modifications, equipment prescription and/or the rehabilitation process. Whilst being able to work and communicate effectively well within a team, you will also be able to work autonomously.

Your role will involve the administration of assessments, and interventions such as home modifications, equipment prescription and rehabilitation. Liaison with other health professionals, key stakeholders, support staff and families is another important aspect of the role. More specifically, you will assist with the management of more complex clients and provide support and clinical supervision to your fellow team members . You will also contribute towards the continuous improvement of business operations.

Role requirements:

  • AHPRA registration with no conditions imposed
  • Current Drivers Licence with reliable vehicle
  • Compliance: Working with Children Check, National Police Check and Current flu vaccination
